The back cover. In order to save on import duties, resellers in Canada would import the movement and the case separately, or use domestic cases; the duty paid on parts was much less than on a fully assembled watch.
In this case (pun intended) the movement was imported and the case is domestic.
It took many shots to get this one. My goal was to be able to read the jeweler's marks just left of the stamp in the middle. I had to reposition the light and adjust exposure many times to get this - getting the shadows to fall "just so" was not easy.
