Lessons learned about P&S "zoom", focal length, etc.



The first test compares the DSC-S85's 3x zoom (dpreview says 34mm-102mm, which must include the FLM (focal length multiplier for conversion to 35mm equivalent) to the Oly E-300 w/ kit lens (14mm-45mm, (3.2x zoom) 28mm-90mm w/ FLM).



As you click through the images, descriptions will be included at the bottom of the intermediate and full-size images. You can access the EXIF data for any picture by clicking "photo properties" in the nav. section (upper-right).
