This was taken on a trail in Quebec (as was dsc00218, the Trillium). These little fish (tadpoles?) live a dense life with their fellows. When you throw them food, they literally stir up the water as they scramble overtop of each other to get the food. There are probably around a hundred of them in this photo, even though you can't see some.
