The Wedding of Kristjana and Bradley

Saturday, October the fourth, two thousand and three: The day started off early (0730 for me) as I had to get my sister, one of the bridesmaids, to the hair studio. Following that was various goferage and running around, decorating the wedding car and getting all dressed up for the wedding. A round of photo-taking ensued at Sue's place, and then we're off to the church. Bradley Kosheluk and Kristjana Johannesson were joined in Holy matrimony on this beautiful afternoon in a Ukranian wedding ceremony at the beautiful Church of the Immaculate Conception in Cook's Creek, MB. Following that was another round of photo-taking at the grotto beside the church. Then, after a brief rest at Sue's place, we're off to the reception.



Dinner at the reception hall was excellent (more wonderful Ukranian delights), preceded and followed by speeches and interspersed with various glass-clinking and smooches at the head table. Then the band, Yours Truly (no, not me, "Yours Truly" an excellent, multi-talented band) struck up and dancing and assorted revelry occupied our time for the rest of the evening, which ended at 0100 with our (quickly) breaking down the hall and retiring for (what's left of) the night.
